NEW LOCATION IN ATASCADERO COMING VERY SOON!!!

We are opening a third, high tech, campus with five (5) teaching rooms, all of which have a piano, or two (for parent/child combo piano lessons), amps for guitar and bass, stands and chairs for band/orchestra instrumental lessons, drums for rhythm instruction, mics for vocal lessons, and a computer for sheet music, YouTube, and computerized notation programs. We are installing another digital recording studio, which will interface with our Arroyo Grande and SLO campuses, for all of our current recording artists, and voice and instrumental students who want to record their own CD! More details on the location, time/day of the party, and the exact date of our grand opening will be posted here in the next few weeks, so bookmark this page in your web browser so you can check it every few weeks and find it fast!

The 2012 Spring Semester is in full swing at the teVelde Music. To all of the wonderful students who are starting your musical education with us, welcome! To those who are interested in taking lessons from the most wonderful teaching staff ever, we can't wait to show you what we can offer you! We've got the most highly trained, dedicated, and educated teachers available anywhere, and we are ready to help you make your musical dreams come true!

Family Oriented Scheduling:

We know that scheduling can be an issue with families, considering all of the extracurricular activities that talented children want to be involved in. To help all of you busy families consolidate your time, we have multiple teachers available teaching multiple instruments and learning styles at the same time. This allows us to accommodate multiple siblings in the same time periods, cutting down on your weekly commute and waiting times! Just let us know how we can get you in and out of lessons in the most expeditious way possible. We will find out the learning style of every sibling, and place them with the perfect teacher so that your family not only gets in and out of lessons quickly, but with the absolutely best personality match between teachers and students.

UPCOMING CONCERTS:

teVelde Music End of Year Concert and Awards Ceremony the first Saturday in June , 2012: There will be two (2) concerts, one at 5:30, and one at 7pm. The 5:30 concert is mainly for our younger students (ages 2-5), but any child who wants to attend and participate is more than welcome (we would prefer that adult performers, except for parents doing duets with their students, participate in the main concert). The 7pm concert is the main event, for all students who want to play for a large audience!

All TM students are invited to play, and all relatives and friends of TM students are invited to attend. This concert is a showcase of the incredible talent that our students demonstrate on a daily basis!

LOCATION: Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, 103 Trinity, Arroyo Grande, CA. Additional Locations will be added for SLO and Atascadero/North County Students.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

International Conservatory of Musicians (ICM) Adjudications in May. Appointments may be scheduled with your teacher, and are available on a first come, first served basis. Students may play up to two (2) songs, depending on individual level and ability. Achievements will be documented, and, depending on the level of performance, awards will be earned. These awards will be presented to each student at the TM Spring Concert in June, 2012. Please read the page on this website about our ICME accreditation. NOTE: We personally choose every adjudicator (judge) that comes to the school, making sure that they are not only highly qualified, but that they have a positive, uplifting style of communication. The primary focus is to document each student's achievements, not their failures.

SUMMER CAMP, 2012:

Back by popular demand: Last year's School of Rock Summer Camps went amazing! Check out a live performance by some of this year's students in a real band setting by going to the teVelde Music YouTube Channel. These camps give your child 10 months worth of music education inside of 2 weeks! See more information on our Summer Camp 2012 page at the left.
