7 Easily Recognizable Signs of Musical Talent Do You or Does Your Child: 1. Sing or Hum Continually? 2. Listen to their favorite (the same) songs over and over? 3. Get songs "stuck" in your head? 4. Constantly tap fingers on surfaces? 5. Ask to take instrumental or voice lessons (draw pictures of an instrument)? 6. Figure out tunes "by ear" (listen to a song and figure out how it goes without written music)? 7. Have Close Relatives (Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins) who play or sing.. especially "by ear"? If you or your child demonstrate three (3) or more of these symptoms, you (or your child) need to be tested for musical aptitudes. For parents: your child needs to be evaluated for musical aptitudes by someone who understands Perfect Absolute Pitch works, and how to train the child to develop it. See tabs at left for your child's age range to see what needs to be done for optimal development of your child's musical talents. Please click on the link about testing to see what we test for, and why it is important to have this testing done for every student before music lessons begin. |
